cluster lights
Posted: Mon Aug 27, 2007 2:10 ami found out the backlights for my cluster arent working....the cel and all the rest of the lights turn on but the back lights dont...any suggestions?

Posted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 11:21 pmcheck the backboard of your cluster, there might be a cut in one of the lines running through the connections

That's funny you have the same problem as I. It seems as though to fix it all I have to do is push around the area that dims my lights and they come right back on. I'm sure it's a wire in there somewhere but I'm too lazy to open her up.
Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2008 5:39 amWhen I bought my EJ1 I didn't have any dash lights at all. I replaced the Dash Dimmer with one from the Junkyard and I have Dash Lights.
If nothing else Works thats something to try. I got my new Dimmer for like 10-15 bucks or so.

with that dimmer switch..
sometimes in the middle of your driving
cluster lights would start acting up..
i tried to hit some parts of the cluster..
it would turn back again..as i was hitting
the dimmer.. it was turning on/off
i pulled it ou when i got home,
spray a little of WD40 ang clear it up
with those keyboard spray..
presto.. its good again!!
