Map sensor

i have a 1992 civic dx with a 93 ls swap what map sensor should i use the one the comes on the fire wall of the civic. Or can i use the one of the 1994 integra tb that i just got? are bolth sensors the same?

ive never seen a 92 or newer civic with a map on the fire wall, i use the one on the ls throttle body...

my 95 coup has the map sensor on the fuel filter bracket.

my homies 93 dx sedan had it on the firewall too.. but its better to have it on the TB, the vaccum lines can get hard and brake

It depends on your throttle body. If you have a MAP mounted to the TB, then you use that one. If your TB has a vacuum port and no MAP sensor, then you run a vacuum line from your MAP to that port.
Basically you use the MAP sensor that has the correct vacuum connection to your intake manifold plenum.
If you plug in your firewall MAP sensor ans it's vented to the open air, you're not measuring Manifold Absolute Pressure, you're measuring barometric pressure. That's like asking the weather man what your fuel pulse should be.
And yes on pre-94 non-VTEC USDM Civics, the MAP is mounted on a tab on the fuel filter. In 94 the fuel filter mount was redesigned.
