what pins on the plug are the wires in?

thanks for the help teal thats one of my good buddies he just got a eg hatch with a y8 and weve been haven trouble with it

no MAP will cause it to run bad.

yeah you need an IAT, you can do this:

or just drill a hole in your intake tube and put it in there.

what year/engine harness do you have? I just looked at my map sensor and the wires are green/blue, yellow/green, white :?

you're using a P28 right?

Ok got it...

Green/White wire from the MAP sensor should change to Green/Blue after the main harness plug, and then goes to pin C11 on the P28

Yellow/Red wire from the MAP sensor should change to Yellow/Green after the main harness plug, and then goes to pin C10 on the P28

Solid White wire from the MAP sensor should change to Pink/White (93-95) or White (92) after the main harness plug, and then goes to pin C9 on the P28
