d series distributor
Posted: Tue Oct 06, 2009 9:25 pmmy boy has a b16a2 and his oil seal in his distributor is bad so its leaking. i have an extra distributor for my d series. are they compatable.

Posted: Wed Oct 07, 2009 11:39 pmCompare the 3 bolt holes that hold the dizzy on, the Z6 bolt holes will most likely be different than the B16 head. So that's a no on the fit.
Mark where the current one on the B series is and take it off and try fitting the z6 one... it only takes a few minutes

Posted: Thu Oct 08, 2009 3:14 pmI have heard, I believe on this site, that OBD1 D Series non-vtec Dizzys will work on B Series Heads. I think it was Greasedmonkey that said that, Although I could be wrong, it has been along time. D16z6 dizzys wont work, The bolt lineup spots are different.
