having a problem with my oil pressure gauge. it was working fine before i done a engine conversion however i have finished my conversion and the gauge is no longer giving the right reading just gos into the red. i have checked the wiring and that is fine. could the gauge senor be damaged

hope someone can shed some light on this and help

that would be my first guess...
or maybe the wiring got pinched during the swap?

thanks mate will get a new sensor and try it. the wiring is fine as i double checked it.
