- Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:43 pm #291947 To put any K series into the older chassis you will have to find either an RSX 5 speed or 6 speed, EP3 trans 5 speed or a 6 speed out of the 06- new Civic SI, But yes they will bolt right up the k series is like the the D, all the blocks and heads and trans all can work together.


As far as an ecu best to just get a k-pro but I think you will need either the RSX or any civic SI ecu to work properly in your cars.
