hello all

i was wondering what the best set up for buildign a h22 to get a bace platform for an engine build is what other parts frm standerd car fit and cause gains ??

i was thinking h22a sir engine with a h23 crank and the type s cams maybe other internals that fit better ??what might they be??

frankenfucking a motor isn't all that great. Just swap an h22 head on a h23 block or buy the ass expensive stroker kit.

Unless you're shitting money to have the block sleeved so you can go with aftermarket pistons here's a decent setup:

H22 closed-deck Block
Type-S Pistons
H22 Rods
Milled H22 head w/ port work. I opted for dual valve springs and upgraded retainers as well
Type-S Cams or aftermarkets

If you're thinking about boost the f22 would be a better platform to start with. CRF sleeves vs iron sleeves

Dont forget a transfer plate with a b series tranny, thats if u got a spare 1g layin around
