#268061 well i have two questions, one is are all h22 oilpans are the same? because the guy that owned my hatch before me ran it pretty low for these crappy Alaskan roads we have and banged up the oilpan and headers real bad and one more hit and it went bye bye. luckily it was in my driveway (so lucky!) and this is the result...

but i fixed it for the time being using fiberglass n the outside then filing the hole in with jbweld on the inside. [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/66545587@N03/6057384033/]Image
but anyways back to my question. are all h22 oilpans the same? will a 92-96 prelude oilpan fit on my h22a4? and my second question is how do i go about fitting a good exhaust system in my hatch. i know that they dont make pre-made systems for a h22 eg swap and there is custom fab work most of the time. but i just wanted to know what i would have to do if i got a worldsport2 exhaust and a vibrant header ([url]http://www.preludepower.com/forums/showthread.php?t=345446
)
the problem i see is that my shifting box sits in the channel where the exhaust runs through so idk whether a exhaust-in-a-box will fit with that in the way.

#268063 They will all work but they are not the same. Gaskets are different from a1 and a4

#268210 so they all use the same bolt pattern then? also what oil pan would you think is better, the aluminum kind that i have or the stamped steel ones i can get for fairly cheep on ebay? the aluminum ones cost around $100 rather then like $40 steel ones. i would think the steel ones are a bit tougher, and would rather bend then crack like the aluminum ones even though ive had some tough times trying to get those kind sealed good. thank you for your help!
