Has anyone replaced or know how to replace the shifter on a h22 civic. My shifter is sticky like it has no spring effect. The distance between gears is also really long.

- Mon Oct 22, 2007 8:51 pm #27127 you have to disconnect the cables on the shifter and just remove anything that connects the shifter to the car and use the new one or a short throw or whatever you want

- Mon Oct 22, 2007 10:59 pm #27145 Ok so I understand that the shifter and bracket is prelude. There is nothing civic related there. I just buy a new prelude shifter and do a replacement. ?? or is there more to it?
